Volunteering makes you feel good!

Volunteering for Wellbeing in Monmouthshire
Doing something useful or ‘giving’ can help us to feel positive and valued; this can improve our health and wellbeing. Volunteering provides meaningful roles and activities for us within our community; this gives us confidence and a sense of purpose and belonging. We have all sorts of things that you could help with. If you have particular interests or skills please tell us and will do our best to find an opportunity to suit you.
Some of the many ways you could get involved…
Provide some company

Take someone out or visit someone who can’t get out, for a cup of tea and a chat.
Enable someone to get out and about

Become a volunteer driver and help people to get to facilities and appointments.
Assist in running group activities

Help to organise activities such as arts and crafts, board games and reminiscence.
Help someone in a practical way

Provide a help with things like gardening, shopping or dog walking.
